I knew Phil from the apartments in Pearl River called Maygold Apartments run by a staunch Jewish husband and wife back in the 60s and 70s. Phil was older and quite the character. CRAZY  can define Phil. May our Lord Jesus take you in his open arms. God Bless you Phil and your family.🙏

I have been preparing your tax returns for the past 20+ years, but more importantly, I considered you a friend.  When you called me from the hospital this past Thursday, I had no idea this would be the last time that I would speak to you.  There is nobody that I could have a more meaningful conversation about the Yankees.  As 2 life long Yankee fans, we surely had a lot to talk about these past few years.  I always enjoyed getting together and speaking to you.  Look down on the Bombers from above.  Hopefully they will bring back another in your honor.  You will be sorely missed my friend.  Rest in peace!

I met Phil at 10 or 11 and we got in some trouble as kids.  After HS we went in different directions but reconnected about 2 years ago.  He turned into a wonderful righteous man.  He shared with me how he was “a born again Jew” and some of the religious traditions he was taking part of.  It made me respect him that he shared that and how he was proud of it.  God bless your spirit Phil, and Amy for being a critical part of your life.  Be proud Amy.

RIP Phil. Thanks for all the great times at Ortley Beach/Seaside. I hope there are plenty sausage and pepper subs, sandy beaches, and pinball machines where you are. Although we did not talk much, I always knew you would be there whenever I needed you.

We were so sorry to hear about Phil. What a hilarious and fun guy he was and always so gracious during my 10 years staying at the Marriott for work in  the city. We enjoyed becoming friends and talking about our love of music. This photo was at The City Winery.  He will be sorely missed and keeping his family in our prayers.

I'm so sad to hear about this.  He was such a funny troublemaker in school.  I saw him at the last high school reunion and he seemed to be doing great.  When the teacher asked him why he was late to class he would defiantly say "I got my finger stuck in the water fountain!"

Our thoughts and prayers are with you.  Phil was a great guy.  Daniel and Kirby adored Phil.  He was a great friend and neighbor.  May his memory be a blessing.
