I just learned of Bobby's passing. My heartfelt sympathy to Ian and Becky. Your dad loved you so much and he and I would always talk about how much the gift of having a son and daughter brought to each of us. 
I met Bobby when I sold men's shoe's back in the mid 80's and he was a tough guy to get an order from, lol.
He had a charisma about him that most of us have seen, a very charming guy only if he liked you. We never stopped being friends. I knew about his medical struggles and last visited with him during the winter of "25. It broke my heart to see a giant of a man not well. I love and miss you very much my friend.

Bob Horowitz

I was in complete disbelief when I learned of Bobby's passing last week.  I was unaware of his illness and surely would have reached out to him had I known he was sick.  I knew Bobby for decades and can only echo all of the heartfelt expressions of love already shared by others here.  We were teammates (as a sure handed shortstop he never made an errant throw to first base that I can recall).  He was an intense competitor.  Bobby was also something of a car guy - I remember his beloved TR-6. He was typically upbeat and always fun to be around. Like so many others here, I will miss Bobby Adler.  I was very fortunate to have known him in this life.

You  don't always get lucky in life  to know a person like Bobby but I was lucky and blessed to know him.
He was a true friend and like a brother to me.  He was kind and generous.  I can tell you from personal experience  he did not hesitate  if there was something you needed he would offer to help even before you asked.
After a long struggle he is now at peace and will be missed beyond words!!!

I remember meeting Robbie in Floreshine shoes. I worked at the Sears Nanute Mall. I wanted a pair of tan work boots. His sister (Judy) told me to go over. I went and Robbie hooked me up. 😅. 
Judy you Joanne and myself always had a great time.  
Your brother also came in to Bagel Boys. Also helped out there. I remember. 
Rest in peace Robbie. You are definitely missed. 
We lose an angel and God gets back his angel.

I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Robbie.

Bobby greeted you with an infectious smile that lit up the entire room.
