Ronald Klein was born in Brooklyn, New York on February 20, 1947 to William and May Klein. As a child, Ronny loved playing stickball, playing in the schoolyard and getting into trouble with his older brother, Kenny. He also loved listening to the action from Ebbets Field from his rooftop.
As a young adult, Ronny worked at Bache and Co. during the day while attending night school at New York City Community College. He got drafted and served in the Army from 1966 to 1968. While in Vietnam, Ronny worked as a cook and drove a rations truck.
On October 26, 1969 Ronny married Rebecca Rosenberg at Temple Shalom in Brooklyn. After starting a window cleaning business in New York City, they moved to Rockland County where they lived for over 40 years. They had a wonderful life, raised two daughters, Trisha Klein (Todd Evans) and Carly Klein (Jarad Waxman) and loved their six grandchildren, Josh, Matthew, Jake, Nate, Hailey and Gabe. Ronny loved to play golf, camp, bowl, hunt, play softball and racketball, and listen to Motown. More than anything, he loved spending time with his family.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Hellman Memorial Chapels, 15 State Street, Spring Valley, New York 10977. Final disposition will be Private.
