Sharon was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Canada but spent the final 54 years of her life calling the New York area her home. She came to the United States in 1969 after meeting the love of her life, Seymour Schoenbach, on a cruise ship to Israel. They knew they were meant to be together, and four months later they were married and living in their first apartment in The Bronx. Over the next nine years they had two sons, adopted a dog, and decided that their growing family needed a bigger and better setting, so they moved to Suffern, NY, which Sharon would call home for the next 42 years. She spent the final year and a half of her life living in Teaneck, NJ.
Sharon worked for a real estate developer up until her retirement in 2018. She was the smiling, friendly face that one would meet as they went to view, tour, and eventually purchase their condo. So after moving her family to the beautiful suburban surroundings of Rockland County, she was able to help countless other young families get started on doing the same.
Sharon was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She loved spending time with her friends and family as well as the many dogs she had adopted into her home over the years.
Sharon is pre-deceased by her husband, Seymour as well as her parents Aida & Murray Gould. She is survived by her sons Robert & Michael, her daughter-in-law, Emily, her grandchildren Katelyn, Ryan & Owen and her grandpups Lola, Otto, Stanley & Elvis.
