She never gets impressed by big titles, great wealth or any material things ; you will
only earn her admiration and respect by your manners, your character, and your knowledge.
Born and raised in Haiti she moved to Canada after high school and attended the music college Vincent-d’Indy to fulfil her dream of becoming a great pianist and composer. In fact Sheila was an accomplished pianist and an excellent piano teacher all her life.
Sheila was also an Executive Secretary (trilingual). She has been a great public servant at the ministry of Social affairs in Haiti and for the CICC agency...
Above all, Sheila has a great sense of family value and traditions.
Family, friends, music and food were the anchors of her life.
Even during the harsh times of the embargo imposed on Haiti, she would never miss Sunday dinner at her parents house and on her way she would always stop at La Patisserie or at Marie Belliard to choose dessert for everyone.
Being in her company has never been boring, she always has a story to tell, a complaint to make or just a comment to do.
At home, Sheila would never miss the opportunity to greet family and friends with a private recital. She loves music as much as little Mozart does...
She was a great cook and enjoyed eating extremely hot spicy food like there is no tomorrow!
Sheiloue, was probably the most affectionate person you would ever meet.
She was a very loving mother not only for her unique son, “her Chichi “ (Jerry Alexandre Saindoux Thomas) but for all her son’s friends.
In her heart Sheila has nothing but love and passion. The greatest love of her life was her very smart, handsome and lovely grandson Jasmanni!
She left us just one month before turning sixty years old.
She will be terribly missed!
Rest in peace Mom.
