Theodore “Ted” Cooperman, of Tappan, passed away September 25, 2013 at age 78. Ted was born in the Bronx, NY on September 17, 1935 to the late Jacob and Beatrice Cooperman. Ted worked for Becton-Dickinson in Orangeburg, as a Bio-Chemist. He is survived by his beloved wife Joan, cherished children Max (Rebecca), Andrew (Kathy Keefe-Cooperman), and William (Kim), 4 adoring grandchildren Jessa, Jenna, Tyler and Spencer, and his loving brother Lawrence (Gloria Cabaza-Cooperman). Ted is predeceased by his sister Esther. Funeral service to be held on Sunday 11:00AM at Hellman Memorial Chapels, 15 State Street, Spring Valley, NY 10977. Burial to follow at Temple Israel Memorial Park in Blauvelt. In lieu of flowers, family requests donation to Shriners Hospital for Children.
