Adele attended Springboro Baptist Church and was a graduate of Springboro High School and a student at Miami University majoring in Special Education. She had a love for music and singing, painting, and the game of soccer. She played competitive soccer for ten years and was known as an excellent goalkeeper. She also was an active USSF youth soccer official and was certified to officiate at the High School level. Adele was known for her great smile, laugh, and uninhibited silliness. She had a kind soul and was always willing to go out of her way to help others in need. Adele was a registered organ donor and helped approximately sixty people with her gift.
Adele is survived by both of her parents and her three brothers John A., Bradley K., and Nolan S. Schlamersdorf, her grandmother Dawn L. Schlamersdorf, grandfather Roger K. Kempton, step-grandmother Mary Ellen Kempton, her two very good friends Kayla Banks and Elizabeth McKinley, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. A larger celebration of Adele’s life is planned this summer for friends and extended family.
In lieu of flowers and to honor Adele’s love for children with special needs, the family asks donations be made in Adele’s name to abilitiesfirst.org, a United Way agency partner in Warren County, Ohio, supporting children with special needs.
