Alberta L. Fernandez

Alberta “Bertie” L. Fernandez, age 77, of Springboro, OH; died Wednesday April 8, 2020. Alberta was born in Salisbury, NC on April 26, 1942 to the late Albert Vivian and Fannie (Sheryl) Crane. Bertie was formerly employed with the Pentagon in Washington DC for 35+ years with the Department of the Navy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph C. Fernandez in 2018. Alberta is survived by her two children, Joseph Douglas (Jen) Fernandez and Jodi Fernandez; her grandson, Samuel Joseph Fernandez; her brothers, Jay (Mitzi) Crane, Chris (Jackie) Crane; and many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be announced in the near future.
