Carol Ann Cruse

Carol Ann Cruse, loving wife of Dave Cruse for 60 years, passed away on Friday, January 16, 2026 at the Atrium Hospital in Middletown, Ohio, close to her family, from complications due to Alzheimer's Disease. She was born in Sidney, Ohio on February 8, 1946, the daughter of Anthony & Elizabeth Mertz. Carol is survived by her loving husband, David: her beloved children Sheri Baker-Cruse and David Cruse: 5 cherished grandchildren, Dustin, Anthony, Coleene, Lyric, Damien: 3 great-grandchildren Avory, Octavia and Colton: siblings Frances, Richard, Bonnie, Elizabeth; 7 siblings have passed: also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

"Carol had a sweet personality and always had a smile on her face. She loved her family dearly, and in her life she never had a bad thought and never cussed, God has him a new angel, we will all miss you forever."

Friends may call on the family from 10:00 AM- 12:00 PM on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at the Anderson Funeral Home, 40 North Main St, Springboro, Ohio 45066. Funeral service to follow at 12 PM with Pastor Basharat Masih presiding. Burial will be at Springboro Cemetery, Springboro, Ohio.
