Donald served in the United States Army in the Korean War in Company G, 32nd infantry regiment, in the 7th division. After he returned home, Donald worked as a machinist for the Fernald company and retired after 40 years of employment. On nice days he enjoyed biking on the bike paths in Hamilton, as well as many days he enjoyed walking at Jungle Jim's. He was also known to cut a rug, as Donald enjoyed dancing.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mary Lou Baker; brother, Gerald "Jerry" Weisbrodt; and son, Timothy Neil Weisbrodt.
Donald is survived by his daughter, Debbie (Jim) Melko; grandchildren, Erica (Luke Davis) Melko, and Michael (Aubrey) Melko, and great grandson, Levon Davis.
A visitation for Donald will be held Monday, March 11, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Anderson Funeral Home, 40 North Main Street, Springboro, Ohio 45066. Following the visitation will be a graveside service and interment at 1:30 PM at Rose Hill Burial Park, 2421 Princeton Road, Hamilton, OH 45011.
