She was proceeded in death by her father and mother Felix and Violet Masur and husband James Schwinghamer.
She is survived by her two sons, Joe and Matt Schwinghamer, daughter in laws their Mary and Lisa Schwinghamer, her five grandchildren Ryan, Emily, James, Jenna, and Julia and siblings, Leona Krsnak, Tim Masur, and John Masur.
Judy was a devoted wife, mother, friend and academic advisor at Michigan State University, which were the passions of her life.

Visitation will be Monday, October 5, 2026 from 5-7 at Anderson Funeral Homes (40 North Main Street, Franklin, Ohio 45066) A Catholic Mass will be held at St Mary of the Assumption Catholic Parish, 9579 Yankee Rd, Springboro, OH 45066, US, on Tuesday October 6, 2026, at 11:00 am. A graveside service will be Wednesday, October 7, 2026 at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, 2520 W Willow St, Lansing, MI 48917 at 2:00 pm.
