Linda had a huge zest for life, and was a great mentor to many young people, who call her family still to this day. She also hosted amazing pool parties, and cooked many meals for friends and family. If there was something that Linda could get or do to make someone happy, she always did. Linda instructed dance at the Arthur Murray Dance Studio in Dayton. She worked at GM Truck and Bus, and retired after 30 years, and was a member of Corvette - Troy for over 40 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Robert Bailey.
Linda is survived by her husband of over 40 years, Dan Schmick, to whom she was an excellent wife and partner with; sons, Scott (Krista) Schmick, and Jeff Schmick; grandchildren, Kelsea McClain, and Abigale Adkins; sister, Beverly Coons of Evansville, IN; brother, Bill Bailey of Huber Heights, OH, as well as her adopted daughter, Kakesha DeChant of Mississippi.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Linda's name to Kettering Health Foundation.

A funeral service for Linda will be held Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Anderson Funeral Home, 40 North Main Street, Springboro, Ohio 45066. Burial to follow at Miami Corwin Cemetery. Following the graveside service the celebration of Linda's life will continue at, 810 Valley View Point Springboro, Ohio 45066.
