Nancy was such a wonderful lady. I knew the family when they lived in Michigan. Nancy taught my daughters Sunday School class when my daughter was about 5, my daughter loved her as all the kids did. We kept in touch thru Facebook over the years. Praying for Bob and Nancy’s family.

Our deepest condolences to you on Nancy's homegoing.  While we rejoice that her faith is now sight, it's difficult for those who remain on this side of the veil of eternity.  May you know God's peace and feel his presence and comfort in the difficult days ahead.

Bob and Nancy were my Young Adult SS teachers and friends.  From parties to house-sitting for them, I can't think of a time that I didn't feel welcomed and leave encouraged from their home.  Nancy (and Bob) served as an early role model for our marriage, and we try to extend that same grace and warmth to guests in our home.

I would encourage you with the thoughts that came from songs at my mother's funeral a couple years ago.  She is now home, where there is no more night, no sorrow, and no more "goodbyes", praising the Savior she served so faithfully over the years.  And that gives us a hope and eager anticipation for the day we are all reunited forever.  May this be your comfort and encouragement.

One of my dearest memories of Nancy is from years later, when I gave birth to my son, Ivan. To my surprise, a package arrived from the U.S.—inside was a soft, hand-knitted sweater made by Nancy herself. She had carefully chosen the yarn, knitted every stitch with love, and mailed it all the way to Taiwan. I still remember how touched I was when I opened that box. It wasn’t just a gift of warmth for my baby; it was a gift of her heart. That sweater became a symbol of the bond we shared—gentle, genuine, and lasting beyond distance and time.

I still remember when my husband and I stayed at your home in Ohio for a week back in 2005. We had such a wonderful time with you and your family—laughing, chatting, and enjoying every moment together. Those memories are still so vivid in my heart.

I still remember that beautiful day in May 1997 when we celebrated Mother’s Day at your home with Grandma, Teresa, Lilian, Mario, and Dee. We enjoyed lunch together, shared stories, and laughed so much. It was such a happy, love-filled afternoon that still warms my heart whenever I think of it.

During our last years in Findlay Nancy was a source of calm in my life. She was an example of grace and trust that makes me feel a special calm even as I write this. 
We spent some very special times together over almond chicken at the local Chinese restaurant and driving for hours to attend a lovely ladies’ retreat. 
I know that all of you will miss her but the fact is that we do not sorrow as those who have no hope. We will join her one day in our eternal home and rejoice together as we renew those special relationships we had here in earth. 
For now, though, I will be praying for all of you, her loved ones.  May you feel the comfort that only the God of all comfort can give.
