

Ray Kirkpatrick of Springboro, OH, passed away on September 5, 2026, at Kettering Hospital. Born on January 17, 1950, in Thomaston, Georgia, Ray was the beloved child of Creed and Carolyn Kirkpatrick. Throughout his life, Ray was known for his kindness, dedication, and love for family and friends.
Ray is survived by his wife of 56 years, Barbara (Bobbie) Kirkpatrick, his mother, Carolyn Kirkpatrick; children Brian (Dona) Kirkpatrick, Kelly Kirkpatrick, Grandchildren Brady Kirkpatrick, Kenzie Kirkpatrick, siblings Dianne (Roger) Roark, Faye (Gerry) Smith, Connie Kirkpatrick, Donald Kirkpatrick, John Kirkpatrick. Ray was preceded in death by his father Creed Kirkpatrick.
For 40 years, Ray was the owner of Flagship Financial Services in Franklin, Ohio. He was instrumental in advising both prospective and existing clients on retirement planning, helping families prepare for their futures with confidence and peace of mind. Through his professionalism, integrity, and genuine concern for others, Ray earned the trust and respect of countless clients and colleagues throughout the community.
Ray lived his life lending a helping hand and offering words of comfort to whomever needed it. He had a kindhearted, generous, and unforgettable spirit that touched the lives of many. Whether through a thoughtful conversation, a word of encouragement, or a simple act of kindness, Ray made a lasting impact on those around him. His warmth, compassion, and genuine concern for others will be remembered by all who knew him. Ray attended Baptist Tabernacle in Carlisle for 18 years. He enjoyed living his faith and shared his testimony with many people. Ray will be greatly missed by family, friends, clients, and the many lives he touched.
Visitation will be Saturday September 12, 2026 at Anderson Funeral Home 40 N. Main St Springboro, OH from 11am to 1pm. The Funeral Service will be at 1pm following the visitation with Pastor Jerry Vaughn and Pastor Roger Roark officiating.
