I was heartbroken to hear of Siv’s passing. We made some great lacrosse memories with all of you! And who can forget that low country boil Siv made at our home! Siv’s smile and laugh will always be remembered. Please hug the girls for us and know that all of you are in our thoughts and prayers.

I am dumbfounded and heartbroken at the passing of Siv. She was an amazing person and I am forever grateful that our paths crossed.

I first met Siv all those years ago when I interviewed her at Wright State University for an engineering position at NASIC. She was polished, intelligent, articulate and of course very sweet. I remember at the time making a note for HR to get her an offer letter ASAP. Of course, as far as that goes the rest was history. After she was hired we talked often and I got to watch her career, and family grow. I know how much she loved you all.

Sadly after I left NASIC we fell out of touch, but then a few years ago we bumped into each other at the Springboro Junior High National Honor Society induction ceremony. My nephew Cole who is now a junior at Springboro High School was inducted along with one of the girls. It was fun, even if just briefly, to get caught up a little and to see how well you were all thriving.

I am so very sorry for your loss. My sincere wish is that over time the pain of Siv's passing is lessened as your hearts and minds fill with beautiful memories  of her wonderful life.

I am at a loss for words. I met Siv and became friends through our neighborhood book club. What a shining star she was…Bright and beautiful. She loved her girls, Dan and family so much. Always laughing about running this way and that to keep up with the girls. Always loved to hear her stories of travel, family and work. And Siv loved food. I always asked her how was it possible that one so petite could eat so much and stay so small! She would just laugh and have another strawberry. She sure could make you smile. You will be missed Siv. Dan, girls and family my prayers to help you through this time of great sadness.

Siv was funny, kind, and really seemed interested in what you were saying.  It was always nice to get to see her and she added a lot to the family holidays. I think I’ll always remember the way she laughed. Rest in peace Aunt Siv, I will miss you.

Words cannot express how sad I am over this tremendous loss. She was always a bright, positive, friendly and happy person! We met in our neighborhood book club.l and I’ve always considered her a friend. She was always friendly and happy. She Loved Dan and her girls so much ! I know she is watching over them now and will always be with them in their hearts. 

I have been blessed by connecting with Siv from the time she came to NASIC until several weeks ago when we had our last chat. Her spirit will live on in all who had the privilege to know her and all who knew her will forever love her. Reading the many comments here, one realizes what a special person she was, excelling in every aspect of her personal and professional life.  Her pride in family enabled us all to know Dan and the girls. It will be a joy to watch four young women grow while filling their Mother's footsteps in ways only they can understand from the special relationship to a Mom dedicated to helping them be all they can be. Can still see the shelf in her work area, always holding Dan in their wedding portrait and growing to hold four annual updates taking the girls from tots to women. Siv was an amazingly positive person. Her enthusiasm for what and who she loved was unmatched!  She got our book club to read count of Monte Cristo, and our normal limit is 400 pages!  We will miss her at book club and as a neighbor and friend. Our deepest sympathies are with Dan and the girls and all those who lived Siv. Our prayers are that God will fill them with comfort during this difficult time and that memories of Siv will lift up all those who will surely miss her bright light!

When I think of Siv I picture her smiling and laughing at lacrosse games (very proud of her girls!) or going back to the earlier days of watching lacrosse games . . . always with two adorable little girls in tow, carrying books and markers, playing under the bleachers, etc. Sending hugs and comforting thoughts your way. I’m sorry for your loss. She was a bright light in the world, always smiling, enthusiastic and ready to find the humor in life. 

I was fortunate to work with Siv for several years. 
During that time I got to know Siv and learned quickly that Siv was hard working and dedicated to getting the job done right and on time.  
After Siv moved to another position at NASIC,  Siv and I would update each other on our daughters when we passed in the hallway.  She would always proudly tell me what each daughter was doing. 
In looking at the pictures on the website, it is clear that Siv created a lot of happy memories that I hope will provide some comfort to her family.  
My husband, Bob, and I send prayers and condolences to Siv’s entire family and prayers for Siv to rest in peace. 

I am so very sorry for the loss of your precious Siv.  I would only get the chance to see Siv when she would come down to Robins AFB.  She was always so kind to me.  We would exchange food and recipes when she would come.  And for some reason... She had to go eat at Bojangles of all places.  I had not talked to her for some time as she moved on in her career.  I thought of her often.  I will miss her.   Sending love and hugs to her family.

I had the pleasure of working with Siv at NASIC. She was a class act and amazing lady. This so very sad. Prayers for peace and comfort to her husband, beautiful daughters, and family. 

The news of Siv's passing broke my heart. We worked together at NASIC and I often helped her with the Asian American/Pacific Islander celebration month here at work. She will be missed. I pray that the Lord hold her family tight and encamp angels around them during this difficult times. May her daughters be comforted in knowing that this little lady was a fighter and loved them immensely. May she RIP.

This was the last moment we got to spend together and I’ll never forget it. You will be forever missed.

I have known the Dresher families for many years, going back to the girls great grandparents.  Met Siv a few times.  I was so impressed when  Dan and Siv planned and took their 4 young  daughters,  3 of Dans aunts  Marie, Susie and Bunny. all to Rome, Italy!   Quite an adventure!      Prayers for peace, comfort, hugs to the family.

Our condolance Dan and girls on the news of Siv's passing.  She put up a fierce battle.  We first met Siv when Emma and our daughter Leah were on their first basketball team (2nd Grade).  So I have many memories with Siv watching the girls play basketball together.  Siv was not shy and we absolutely loved her spirit.  Our dearest memory is that Siv always had suckers in her purse which she would grab one to suck on when she wanted to keep from speaking her mind to the ref, couch or Emma.  We thought it was a great idea and we knew if we needed a sucker, Siv would share.    Sending our love and prayers to the family.

I'm so very saddened to hear of Siv's passing. We worked together for several years and I can say that she was such a wonderful peer.  Always kind, understanding, and friendly...definitely one of our absolute favorites.  I caught up with Siv a few years ago as we walked out to our cars.  She gave me an update on her girls...the very girls I remember her being pregnant with.  I'll always remember her walking in the hallway with her work BFF Monika Romines.  May Siv rest peacefully.

Siv....thank u for being such a beautiful and kind coworker.  I will forever miss you until we reunite in God's kingdom.  Love u.

Charlie & I are so sorry to hear of your family’s loss. Sue left an indelible mark on everyone she met. Her kindness, intelligence and love for her family and friends was remarkable. Know your family is in our prayers and thoughts during your time of grief.

I agree with Nancy's sentiments as I was a part of that group who had the privilege of being together with Siv.  What I remember most was her smile and enjoying the food that Linda had prepared for all of us.
She entered in without a word of complaint but was joyous in the day she had been given.  I am so thankful that God brought Siv and Linda together as it was beautiful to see how they cared for one another....."there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother" and that was so true with Linda and Siv.  Praying for your family in the days to come that you all find the peace that passes all understanding.

Dear Dan and Daughters, 

I had the privilege of meeting Siv through my good friend, Linda Schindler.  We had lunch together and she and Linda helped me do some preparations for my husband and my 50th anniversary.  I was so humbled and taken by Siv's vibrant personality and her sweet, energetic spirit.  What a beautiful, caring she had!  Siv would always brings "us" little gifts and goodies to show her appreciation.  I've never known anyone who fought the good fight to overcome her cancer more than her!  Her tenacity to be here as long as God allowed so she could be with each of you was amazing!  She spoke
