Virginia Hay age 90 of Springboro, Ohio passed away Thursday October 22, 2026 at Kettering Hospital in Miamisburg. She was born in San Antonio, Texas on May 6, 1936 the daughter of Ernest and Virginia Hatt.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward Hay; a daughter, Kathryn Whittaker; a sister, Mary Lynn Cantrell; and two brothers, Nelson Hatt and Bill Hatt.
Virginia is survived by her son, Bill Hay (Linda); son-in-law, Dennis Whittaker; sister, Maxine Odom; grandchildren, Robert Whittaker (Kaureen), Heather Michel (Ryan), Brittany Hatton (Stephen), Nicole Whittaker, Robert Hartbarger, Leslie Carter; great grandchildren, Robert, Gavin, Carley, Cole, Adilynn, Brynlee, Chandler, Collins, Landen and Isabella; great great grandchild, Elias. She is also survived by numerous family and friends.
Visitation will be held Tuesday October 27, 2026 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm with service to follow at 3:00 pm at Anderson Funeral Homes 40 North Main Street, Springboro, Ohio 45066. Burial will take place Wednesday, October 28, 2026 at 12:30 pm at Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Nicholasville, Kentucky.
