He was born in Summit, NJ, on March 4, 1949, the son of Jean Sr. and Marian Wood Parsons. Aaron married Jacqueline Harvell on December 19, 2005 in Springfield.
Aaron worked and lived in many states across America. He worked in the nuclear industry, taught computer aided drafting, and his last position was with the State of Illinois as an Information Systems Analyst. He enjoyed traveling, golfing, camping, eating good food, playing games, rescuing dogs, firearms, spending time with his friends, and all things electronic.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jean and Marian; sister, Karen Martin; and brother, Jean Parsons, Jr.
Aaron is survived by his wife, Jacqueline “Jackie”; stepsons, Drew and Luke Day; daughters, Katherine L. Baez and Stacy A. Staggs; four grandchildren, Michael, Gabriel, Emma, and Sara; one great-grandchild; two sisters, Debra “Brandy” Koval, and Aggie VanNote; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside Ceremony: 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 21, 2024, at Camp Butler National Cemetery Columbarium with military honors provided by the Interveteran’s Burial Detail of Sangamon County and the Department of Defense.
