Adam L. Millburg

Adam L. Millburg, 29, of Springfield, passed away at 8:12 a.m. on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at his residence. Adam was born December 2, 1981 in Springfield, the son of Joe Millburg and Ruthie Wheeler. Adam was an employee of Maurer Construction Company. He enjoyed playing poker, video games, playing his guitar, and was an avid Cardinals fan. His family, co-workers, and poker buddies were all very important to him. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Glenn Millburg, and a cousin, Leanna Pokora. He is survived by his son, Liam Millburg; his mother, Ruthie (husband, Jim) Smallwood of Springfield; his father, Joe Millburg of Springfield; companion, Heather Beaty of Springfield; one sister, Maria Millburg of Springfield; grandparents, Barb Millburg of Morrisonville and Mary Wheeler of Springfield; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Visitation: Family will receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 23, 2011 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. Funeral Ceremony: 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 24, 2011 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park with Celebrant, Judy Woerner officiating.
