

Adam Padget, 18, of Springfield, formerly of Athens, passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2009 at St. John's Hospital. Adam was born November 6, 1990 in Springfield, the son of David and Terri Reason Padget. Adam was an honor roll student at Athens High School where he was a member of the football and track teams, and the FFA. Adam loved sports and was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan. He had tremendous school pride and enjoyed being outdoors. Preceding Adam in death are his grandparents, Richard Reason, Ebert Padget, and Mary Lou Padget. He is survived by his parents, David and Terri Padget of Springfield; his brother, Joshua J. Houser of Springfield; his sisters, Mackenzie Padget of Zanesville, OH and Whitney McMann of Springfield; his grandma, Patricia Reason of Springfield; two nephews, Donovan and Cameron Guy; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. Family will receive friends from 3:00-7:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 7, 2009 at the Athens High School Football Field (weather permitting, alternate location of Athens High School Gymnasium). The family asks that visitors dress comfortably in the Athens High School colors of white and green in honor of Adam. A funeral ceremony will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 8, 2009, at Athens Christian Church, 1411 W. State Route 29, Athens with Reverends Ken and Kyle Gennicks officiating.
