Alan Danner

Alan “Al” Danner, 63, of Sherman, passed away on Sunday November 25, 2012 at Memorial Medical Center. He was born on September 10, 1949 in Springfield, the son of Arthur and Velma Woolary Danner. He married Linda Lenhart in Springfield on May 23, 1968 and she survives.

Mr. Danner is also survived by his daughter Tricia Danner-Robinson of Sherman, one sister Karen Duckworth of Springfield, one grandson Anthony Danner of Athens, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son Anthony “Tony” Danner.

Al was a mechanic at Jack Stoldt Auto Service Center in Springfield for over 30 years, he enjoyed drawing in his home office, and coloring with his grandson.

A funeral service will be held at 12:30pm on Friday November 30, 2012 at Bisch and Son Funeral Home, 505 East Allen, with burial to follow at Roselawn Cemetery. The family will meet friends from 4-7pm Thursday at the funeral home, and memorial contributions may be made to the Anthony Danner College Fund.
