Albert Ting, 80, of Beardstown, formerly of Springfield, died at 4:00 a.m. on Sunday, February 20, 2005 at Heritage Manor South in Beardstown. Albert was born April 29, 1924. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in Korea and was employed as an engineer with Fiat Allis. Funeral Services will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, February 28, 2005 at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St. Springfield with Scott Brindley officiating. Burial will follow in Camp Butler National Cemetery where the Sangamon County Interveterans Burial Detail will conduct military honors.
