Andrea "Andi" Lascody

Andrea "Andi" Jo Whitley-Lascody, 45, of Sherman, passed away at 5:07 a.m. on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at her residence. Andi was born May 26, 1971 in Mattoon, the daughter of Bradley and Peggy Jo Lahey Whitley. She married Douglas Lascody on April 9, 2010 in Elkhart, Illinois; he preceded her in death on June 16, 2014. Andi graduated from Mattoon High School, later attending Lake Land Community College. She owned Reagan Traffic Control for several years. She enjoyed tennis, riding motorcycles, boating, and watching both the Dallas Cowboys and St. Louis Cardinals. She was also preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her daughter, Reagan Lascody of Sherman; two sons, Dalton Blakeman of Riverton and Dane Blakeman of Sherman; special uncle Rick and aunt Rusty Whitley of Safety Harbor, FL; mother-in-law, Ann (companion, Gordy Stuber) Lascody of Sherman; father-in-law, Mick Lascody of Springfield; five sisters, Abby (Rob) Pierce of Mattoon, Shelli (Keith) Nolte of Mattoon, Sheri Dee (Leon) Flood of Mattoon, Jodi (Dave) Trotter of Mattoon, and Teri Ann Whitley of Charleston; one sister-in-law, Melinda (Mark) Sloan of Springfield; companion, Rodney Meidel of Springfield; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews; and her beloved dogs, Bella and Dolly. Funeral Ceremony: 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home with Celebrant Judy Woerner officiating and remembrances by Leon Flood. Visitation: Family will receive friends from 3:30 to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th Street, Springfield. Cremation will be accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center following ceremonies. Memorial contributions may be made to Special Olympics Illinois, State Headquarters, 605 E.
