

B. Bryan Ingram, 87, of Springfield, died at 8:15 p.m. on Wednesday, August 12, 2009, at Memorial Medical Center. Bryan was born on July 7, 1922 in Harrison, AR, the son of John and Vandie Terry Ingram. He married Audrey Laidlaw in England on May 30, 1944. Bryan was a graduate of Browns Business College. He was an Army/Air Force veteran and proudly served his country during WWII. He was an Accountant and Vice President at Federated Funeral Directors. He was a member of Christ Episcopal Church where he taught Sunday school and served as the bookkeeper and treasurer. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and traveling. He was a good carpenter and enjoyed woodworking. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Ruth; and three brothers, Horace, Joe and Dewey. He is survived by his wife Audrey Ingram of Springfield; daughters, Carole Allan of Springfield and Janet Widdel of Cheyenne, WY; three grandchildren, April Allan of Springfield, Daniel Widdel of Denver, CO and Geoff Widdel of Fort Collins, CO; one great-grandchild, Cameron Widdel; a brother, Willard (wife, Vera) Ingram of St. Louis, MO; and two sisters, Mary Russell of Kentucky and Louise Ashcraft of Portland, OR. Cremation will be accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center. Private family ceremonies will be held. Burial will be in Old Salem Cemetery at a later date.
