Barbara "Bobbie" Hermes

Bobbie was born on December 20, 1933, in Jacksonville, IL, the daughter of William T. and Evelyn A. (Ferguson) Keenan. She married Vincent E. Hermes on February 16, 1953, in New Berlin; he preceded her in death on May 15, 2017.

Bobbie was a graduate of Franklin High School. She was a homemaker and later earned her LPN certificate. Bobbie later worked for the State of Illinois. In her spare time, she loved to read, crochet, cross-stitch, and crossword puzzles.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and sister, Patricia Ann Keenan Seymour.

She is survived by her sons, Phil (Lorie) Hermes of Bloomington and Joe (Amy) Hermes of Springfield; five grandchildren, Michael Hermes, Rachel (Scott) Sexton, David (Lacy) Hermes and Stephen Hermes, and Chloe (Colin) Grandlienard; great-grandchild, Lola Sexton; and two siblings, William T. (Judy) Keenan of Riverton and John P. (Vickie) Keenan of TX.

Private family ceremonies were held.
