Barbara Ann Farris, 55, of Chatham, died peacefully in her sleep at her residence May 23, 2013. She was born December 9, 1957 in Vandalia, IL to the late Junior and Ozella Hall Jackson. She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Farris Jr.; son, James E. Farris III, sister, Wanda Rutherford, and grandson Jordan Farris. Barb is survived by her sons Sean D. Farris (companion Jennie Harris) of Rochester, Shane D. Farris (companion Jacque Girard) of Kincaid, six grandchildren and on due in 3 weeks; sisters Billie (Butch) Cox and Dana Baggerly; brother, Jason �Jay� Sexton (companion Shannon Austin), all of Chatham; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Cremation Services of Central Illinois, Chatham, will conduct cremation rites. A graveside service will be held at 1pm, Saturday, May 25 at Horse Creek Cemetery in Pawnee. Memorial contributions may be made to help with final expenses.
