Barbara A. Flynn

Barbara was born on May 6, 1946, in Litchfield, the daughter of Walter D. and Blanche (McGregar) Gilbert.

She graduated from Litchfield High School and owned and operated an in-home licensed daycare. Barbara also worked for Horace Mann, Franklin Life, Kmart, and Sam’s Club until her retirement. She kept an immaculate home and enjoyed collecting knick-knacks. Above all, Barbara was devoted to her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Walter Dewey Gilbert and James Gilbert; sister, Marie Mills; and half-brother, William Rice.

Barbara is survived by her sons, Lance (Christina) Flynn and Chad (Cara) Flynn; grandchildren, Brendon Flynn, Greggory Flynn, Aaliyah Flynn, Savannah Flynn, and Landon Flynn; step-grandchildren, Alicia Barlow, Kari Beckum, and Sami Faith; great-grandchildren, Adalyn Barlow and Shelby Bouvet; half-brother, Loy Rice; father of her children, Albert “Gene” E. (Cherie) Flynn, Jr.; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Cremation was provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center.
