Betty was born on August 4th, 1934, and raised in Mechanicsburg. She was the daughter of the late Nathan A. and Edith May (McConnell) Brown. Betty was a loyal resident of Springfield Illinois.
Betty serviced the community as a clerk for the local Goodwill chain. Betty’s light of her life was the love for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Betty’s pride and joy was her little companion, her Chihuahua, Princess. She is survived by her by her five sons, one daughter, multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Debra Lynn and her brother James Brown.
Private services commenced on Friday February 10th 2017 at the Bisch and Son Funeral Home.
