Bonnie Jeanne Clayton, 58, of New Berlin, passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2009 at St. John's Hospital. Bonnie was born October 24, 1950 in Springfield, the daughter of Joseph E. and Mary Catherine Antle Clayton. They preceded her in death. Bonnie worked as a Department Leader at Kohl's Department Store in Springfield for nearly twenty years. She enjoyed cooking for her family and spending time with her family. She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Clayton; two granddaughters, Kelci McCarty and Alex Scott; her siblings, Beverly Clayton and Mike Clayton; one aunt, Frances Ray; one niece, Sarah (husband Mark) Pointer; and two great nephews, Max and Joe Pointer; all residents of New Berlin. Family will receive friends from 4:00- 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at McCullough-Delaney and Butler Funeral Home, 714 E. Gibson, New Berlin. A funeral ceremony will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at McCullough-Delaney and Butler Funeral Home with Pastor Warren Brosi, officiating. Burial will follow at Berlin Cemetery.
