Bonnie Sue Ramirez

Bonnie Sue Ramirez, 79, of Springfield, passed away on July 7, 2021 at St. John’s Hospital. She was born on April 21, 1942 in Springfield to Charles Staley and Ada Middleton. Bonnie married Abraham Ramirez on January 10, 1961 in Hernando, Mississippi and he survives.

Mrs. Ramirez is also survived by two children: Michele (Sam Simmons) Ramirez of Frisco, CO., and Matthew (Jennifer) Ramirez of Springfield, four grandchildren: Shelbee Wood and Elias, Charles and Olivia Ramirez and several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by one son Kirk Ramirez.

Bonnie worked as a cafeteria manager for Springfield District 186 for seventeen years. She worked out with the swim girls at Fit Club and enjoyed flowering, gardening, movies and hosting holiday events. Bonnie loved animals and vacationing in Myrtle Beach.

Cremation rites were accorded. A memorial visitation will be held from 4:00pm until 6:00pm on Tuesday July 13, 2021 at Bisch and Son Funeral Home, 505 East Allen Street. A graveside service will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday July 14, 2021 at Oak Ridge Cemetery and the procession will meet at the monument avenue gate at 9:45am.
