

Bonnie C. Sidles, 59 of Springfield, died at 9:34 p.m. on Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born on June 27, 1947 in Farmersville, the daughter of Ralph and Cathryn Irwin Boehler. Bonnie graduated from Lincolnwood High School in Raymond, Illinois. As a young woman she was employed by Illinois Bell Telephone Company. She later was employed at the Illinois Department of Revenue as a supervisor for twenty years. Bonnie’s passion was gardening. She loved growing and tending to her flowers and shrubs. She was very artistic and talented with sewing and crocheting. Bonnie was truly a strong and independent woman. She was preceded in death by two sisters: Dorothy Campbell and Joann Boehler and one brother: Dale Boehler. She is survived by two sons: Jeremiah Sidles of Springfield and Carl and family of Riverton; one daughter: Cathy (husband. Bill) Sallenger of Chatham; two grandchildren: Kayla and Billy Sallenger; two sisters: Blanche (husband, Norman) Bourland of Florida and Alice (husband, Don) Davis of Florida; three brothers: Tom (wife, Joann) Boehler of Waggoner, Wayne (wife, Michelle) Boehler of Texas and Gene (wife, Kay) of Farmersville and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Family will welcome friends from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 1, 2007 at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. Visitation will begin with prayer at 4:00 p.m. with Rev. Robert Franzen officiating. Cremation will be accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield following the visitation. Memorial Ceremonies will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 2, 2007 at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral home, with Rev. Robert Franzen officiating.
