She was born April 25, 1929 the daughter of John and Edna (Housman) Snow in Detroit, MI. She married Charles W. Talbert on January 4, 1951 in Milwaukee, WI, he survives.
Carol had a degree as a RN and also worked at the Knit and Rip in Springfield for many years. She loved to do crafts and was amazing at fixing anything. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her husband Charles, a daughter Sue (husband David) Hoffman of Lebanon, PA, two sons Michael (wife Sally) Talbert of Roseville, IL, Timothy (wife Sherri) Talbert of Chatham, eight grandchildren Nathan, Adam (wife Sarah) and Laurel Hoffman, Jessica Talbert, Sara (husband Micah) Stickling, Amanda, Daniel and Heather Talbert, two great-grandchildren Lily Hoffman and Benjamin Hoffman, and four siblings Paul (wife Norma) Snow of Bridgeton, MO., Mary (husband Bill) Williams of Bradenton, FL., Judy (husband Jeff) Jarvi of Ishpeming, MI and Glenn (wife Toni) Snow of Fair Oaks, CA.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers Roger Snow and Johnny Snow.
Per Carol’s wishes cremation rites will be accorded and there will be no services scheduled at this time.
Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society and Illinois Veteran’s Home Benefits/Activities Fund in Quincy Illinois.
