Carole A. Schuck

Carole A. Schuck, 55, of Springfield, died at 2:18 p.m. Thursday, March 25, 2004 at St. John’s Hospital. Carole was born September 10, 1948 in Springfield the daughter of Carl and Marie Matulis Gietl. She married William J. Schuck June 14, 1969 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Springfield. Mrs. Schuck was a homemaker. She worked for Buckhart Sand and Gravel for several years. She was an active member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and school. She was also a member of the Altar and Rosary society. She was preceded in death by her father. She is survived by her husband: William J. of Springfield; one son: Joe “Joey” Schuck of Springfield; one daughter: Rachel Schuck of Springfield; mother: Marie Wise of Springfield; two sisters: Dorothy (husband, John) Vono of Springfield, Delores McCoy of Elgin; three nieces; three nephews and several cousins. Family will receive friends from 5-8:00 p.m. Monday, March 29, 2004 at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St. Springfield. Memorial Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 30, 2004 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church 1725 S. Walnut, Springfield with Rev. Msgr. Kevin W. Vann celebrant. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Greater Illinois Branch, 206 NE Madison, Peoria, IL 61602.
