Carolyn Sue Butler

Carolyn was preceded in death by her mother, her adoptive father Gilbert Sandberg, grandson Anakin Credit along with former spouses William Butler and Thomas Riegert.

Her memories will be cherished by her adoptive mother Anne Sandberg of Westmont; children, Carol (Joe) Burge, Scott (Angela) Butler and Angela (Mason) Weems all of Springfield; sister, Betty (Dwight) Nelson of Riverside; 12 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, a niece and a nephew.

Carolyn was a member of I Worship Center. She was an avid bike rider and studied many things such as aviation, massage therapy, nursing, belly dancing, forensic science and many more. She was a 1965 graduate of Eisenhower High School in Blue Island. She worked for Maid-Rite Sandwich Shop for 8 years before retiring in 2010.

Friends may call Monday March 28, 2011 at Boardman-Smith Funeral Chapel from 10:00 AM until the time of services there at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery. www.boardman-smith.net.
