Charles W. Huff

Charles W. Huff, 84, of New Berlin, died at 3:58 p.m. on Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at his residence. Charles was born November 28, 1924 in cass county, the son of Orbra and Marie Behl Huff. He married Rowena Ruth Clements on October 17, 1948 in Berlin Christian Church. She preceded him in death in 2004. Charles was a veteran of the United States Army. He retired from Fiat Allis. He was also preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Sandra K. Gill; two brothers and one sister. He is survived by a son, David (wife, Cheri) Huff of Punta Gorda, FL; two daughters, Barbara (husband, John) DeMeyer of Barnhart, MO and Linda VanDoren of Marinette, WI; ten grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary V. Smith, Anna Marie Saylor and a sister-in-law, Betty Huff. Family will receive friends from 11:00 until the time of ceremony at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 12, 2009 at Berlin Christian Church, 2580 S. Wake Rd., New Berlin with Rev. Warren Brosi officiating. Burial will follow at Wood Wreath Cemetery in Island Grove Township. Memorial contributions may be made to the Huff Memorial Fund at Calvary Temple Church, 1730 w, Jefferson, Springfield, IL 62702. The family of Charles W.
