Charlot Marie Hentz, 82, of Springfield, formerly of Wood River, Illinois, died at 4:10 p.m. Monday December 10th, 2001 at the Rengency Nursing Care Residence in Springfield. She was born August 5th, 1919 in Staunton, Illinois, the daughter of Thomas & Wilhelmina Gross Hentz. Her parents preceded her in death. Ms. Hentz was a graduate of Wood River High School and earned her Bachelors Degree and Masters Degree from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. She had been Vice-President of Gardner Advertising in St. Louis and retired after a 50 year career. She is survived by her cousin- Ileus Buckley of Springfield and several other cousins. The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Saturday December 15th at St. Bernard Catholic Church-345 Acton Drive in Wood River, Illinois. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at St. Bernard Catholic Church, the Rev. Mark Schulte celebrant. Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery in Godfrey, Illinois.
