Cheryl Lee Cary, 71, of Springfield, passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Heritage Health. Cheryl was born August 5, 1946 in Springfield, the daughter of Horace and Virginia Laxton Bergen. She met Jim Cary when she was 12, and he was 14, and they spent 52 years of marriage together. Cheryl was a member of Raymond Christian Church. She had a heart of gold, and loved fishing and hunting, but also loved animals. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Karen Atkinson; and one nephew. She is survived by her husband, Jim, of Springfield; and one great-niece. Cremation will be accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center.
