Christy Williams

Christy Williams, 34, of Springfield, passed away at 2:05 a.m. on Monday, February 21, 2011 at St. John's Hospice. Christy was born January 18, 1977 in Springfield, the daughter of Edward Lee and Carol Anne Allers Williams. She was a graduate of St. Cabrini Grade School and Sacred Heart-Griffin High School. She was a title researcher for Zelle Title in Springfield and enjoyed baking. She was preceded in death by her grandparents. She is survived by her parents, Carol and Ed Williams of Springfield; her fianc, Matt Brumme of Springfield; her son, Logan Pierce of Springfield; one brother, Brian (companion, Erin Carver) Williams of Springfield; several aunts and uncles; one niece, Chloe Brumme and one niece or nephew on the way; and several cousins. Family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. The family asks that you join them in casual attire. A funeral ceremony will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 24, 2011 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home. The family asks that you join them in casual attire. Cremation will be accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center following the services.
