
Clarissa C. Kramer, 101, of Riverton, passed away at 12:46 p.m., on Saturday, March 17, 2001 at Villa Healthcare East in Sherman. She was born February 18, 1900 in Roby, IL the daughter of Gottfried and Pauline Weisenberger Gorenflo. She married E. Fred Kramer at St. John's Lutheran Church in Springfield in 1925 and he preceded her in death on May 26, 1981. Mrs. Kramer farmed with her husband for many years in the Riverton area. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and the Sangamon County Farm Bureau. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister: Florence Matthews; and brother: Frank Gorenflo. She is survived by a son: Fred L. (wife-Judy) Kramer of Sherman, a daughter: Pauline (husband-David)Denzer of Dawson, IL; five grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; a sister: Mae Gorenflo of Dawson, IL and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 20, 2001 from 5-7 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 21, 2001 at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Mike Koschmann officiating. Burial will be in Mechanicsburg Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Special Olympics 1415 North Grand Ave. East Springfield, IL 62702 or charity of donor's choice.
