Cody L. Rogers

He was born on August 14, 1987 in Springfield, the son of Michael and Renae Rogers, Sr.

Cody worked as a foreman for H.T.H. in Decatur, IL, was a very devoted father and son, and a loyal brother. Beloved grandson, nephew, and uncle….he will be missed dearly by all. He enjoyed fishing with his kids and camping with his brother. Gourmet cook, and had a zest for life, and worked until the job was done .

He is survived by his 3 children, Ebony Marie Rogers, Wyatt Samuel Rogers, and Hunter Christian Rogers, all of Illiopolis,IL; the mother of his children, Chelseay Hawkins of Illiopolis, IL; his parents, Michael and Renae Rogers, Sr. of Illiopolis; 2 brothers Michael Rogers, Jr. of Decatur, IL and Dalton Rogers of Illiopolis, IL; his sister Nicole Rogers of Illiopollis, IL; his grandparents John and Dorris Snyder of Taylorville, IL; and several uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Arrangements are under the direction of Bisch and Son Funeral Home, 505 E. Allen, Springfield. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at 3:30 pm at Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall, 4150 Sand Hill, Springfield, IL. Cremation rites were accorded. Inurnment will follow at Macon Co. Memorial Cemetery in Harristown, IL.
