Constance P. Feldhausen

Constance was born on April 7, 1925 in Springfield, the daughter of Lyman Earl Phillips and Florence Barnes. She married George Edward Feldhausen in Springfield, IL. He preceded her in death on December 21, 1995.

Constance was a graduate of Springfield High School in Springfield, IL and graduated from Smith College in Northhampton, Massachusetts in 1946. She enjoyed bridge, golf, tennis, and was a member of Sunny Side and Progress Circle of Kings Daughters.

She was also preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her children, Edward Brittin (wife, Jil) Feldhausen of Tucson, AZ, David Phillips Feldhausen of Springfield, IL, and Richard S. Feldhausen of Brentwood, CA; three grandchildren, Evan (wife, Jenny Spera) Feldhausen of Tucson, AZ, Emilee (husband, Jamie) Case of Austin, TX and Alexandra Feldhausen of New York, NY; and two brothers, Hiram and David Phillips, both of Springfield.

Cremation will be accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center prior to ceremonies.

Private family burial will be held at Stewart Cemetery.

The family will be hosting a Memorial Ceremony at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at First Presbyterian Church, 321 South 7th St., Springfield, IL 62701.
