She was born on November 7, 1956 in Springfield, the daughter of the late Marcus and Theresa Joan (Heineman) Sharp. She married George “Ed” Ross on July 26, 1975 in Springfield and he survives.
Cynthia worked as an administrator for the Illinois State Police and Illinois Department of Transportation. She loved doing crafts and was the owner and operator of Cindyrella Creations.
Besides her husband Ed, she is survived by 2 sons, Jason Edward Ross and Timothy Edward Ross, both of Rochester, IL; 2 grandchildren, Dyzik Parker Ross and Jericho Yuma Smith; a sister Linda Whitmore of Springfield; a brother Michael Sharp of Springfield; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Cheryl Finley.
Services are under the direction of Bisch and Son Funeral Home, 505 E. Allen, Springfield, where visitation will be held on Thursday, February 17, 2022 from 10 am until time of the funeral service at 11 am. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park, Springfield.
