
Dale E. Campbell, 70, of Springfield, formerly of Georgetown, IL and Kokomo, IN died at 5:30 p.m. Friday, February 6, 2004 at St. John’s Hospice. Dale was born October 14, 1933 in Georgetown, IL the son of George and Delpha Spicer Campbell. Mr. Campbell had been employed for Diralyte Company in Kokomo, IN and later retired from Pinkerton Service where he was a security guard. He was also a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Korean War and he also served seven years in the National Guard. He was a member of United Commercial Travelers. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Peggy Sue. He is survived by two sons: Jeffrey Campbell of Brownsburg, IN, Eric (wife, Mary Ellen) Campbell of Russiaville, IN; three daughters: Candice (husband, Steve) Hamilton of Kokomo, IN, Lisa (husband, Bill) Scott of Kokomo, IN, Angela (husband, Robbie) Seals of Logansport, IN; nine grandchildren; one great grandchild; one sister: Pansy Smith of Springfield; one brother: George (wife, Carole) Campbell of Gainsville, FL; one uncle: Ervin Mack of Fairmount, IL; one niece; one nephew; one great niece and several cousins. Remains were cremated. Burial will be at Georgetown Cemetery, Georgetown, IL at a later date. The family of Dale E. Campbell is being served by Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home and Cremation Tribute Center, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield.
