Dana Louise Homer, 54, of Loami, passed away on April 18, 2018 at Memorial Medical Center. She was born on August 28, 1963 in Springfield to Morris Behl and Wanda Humphrey. Dana married Jeffrey Homer on May 25, 2001 and he survives.
Mrs. Homer is also survived by three children: Becky (Travis) Williams-Norvell of Ashland, Kayla (Aaron) Villa of Loami and Brian (fiancé Katie) Homer of Ashland, three grandchildren: Teegan Norvell and Aria and Olivia Villa, her father Morris Behl of Athens, three brothers: Tom Behl, Art (Carrie) Behl and Ken (companion Amy) Behl, one sister-in-law Karin Behl and her special cousin Kathi (Greg) Burch. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother Wanda and her step mother Verna Behl.
Dana worked as a registered nurse at Memorial Medical Center for nineteen years and then for Springfield Clinic for ten years. She enjoyed camping in Utah and in Colorado as well as riding motorcycles. Dana cherished the time spent with her family especially her beloved grandchildren.
