He was born on January 31, 1945, in Springfield, IL, the son of Herbert C. and Cora M. (Swift) Bright.
Danny was a long-time resident of Brother James Court, DDS (Curtis Court), and finally, Lewis Memorial Christian Village.
He was preceded in death by his parents; older brother, Thomas Richard Bright; and sister, Jane Elizabeth Bright.
Danny is survived by his nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Graveside Ceremony: 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at Roselawn Memorial Park.
The family is being served by Boardman-Smith Funeral Home, 800 S. Grand Ave. W., Springfield.
