David L. Beeler Jr.

David L. Beeler Jr., 90, of Springfield, passed away on October 23, 2025 in Springfield. He was born on May 8, 1935 in Springfield to David L. Beeler Sr., and Gladys Sturdy. David married Joyce Bullock and she survives.

Mr. Beeler is also survived by his children: Cella Palmer, Zelda (Colin) Schaffer, David L. (Jonne) Beeler III, Bonnie Salters, Dawn (Dan) Kerns, Judy (Greg) Bee, and Casey (Katie) Beeler, one brother Richard (Jeanette) Beeler and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one sister Mary Alice List and one son-in-law Roger Salters.

David worked as a Gas Journeyman for CILCO for 38 years. He enjoyed home projects and did several upgrades and additions to the family home. He enjoyed camping, visiting Colorado and Texas and he was a Boy Scout Leader.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday October 28, 2025 at Bisch Funeral Home West, 2931 Koke Mill Road, with burial to follow at Berlin Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 4:00pm until 6:00pm Monday at Bisch West.
