I just want to say, that Uncle David will be missed by many. From what little time I was able to spend with Uncle David and Carlene, it was always a pleasant time being around them. I can remember sitting at the kitchen table while my aunt and Uncle smoked cigarets like a fiend. I always enjoyed seeing pictures of Uncle David's classic cars, he had some beauties. I can't remember a time when I saw Uncle David and he didn't have a smile on his face. He seemed to always be at peace. Rest in peace Uncle David, you will be missed.

Grandpa. Where to start? Thank you for being, you. You’re so loved. We miss you down here, but we’re so happy you’re at peace with grandma, where you wanted to be & without pain. Every Root Beer Float or Chocolate Milk I drink, I will always think of you. I still have my favorite picture of you with Jada & Cameron. You had your cane and they walked next to you with sticks because “they wanted to be like grandpa”. We love you so much. It’s never goodbye, it’s see you later! Give grandma kisses from us down here. Love you Always ❤️

You will be greatly missed.
You were more than my uncle, you were like another brother to me. You came to live with us after Grandpa died and were loved very much.

"Uncle David" as he's always been to me, was my Uncle by choice... His sister Ruth Bunch is my Aunt. I've always called him Uncle David... As a young girl I used to go to his & Aunt Carlene's house with Cathy (my cousin) they were so kind to us... After I moved back from Cali, as an adult we used to sit outside Aunt Ruby's & have great talks about the "good Ol' days"... I loved his laugh & sense of humor!!!
Rest in Paradise Uncle David!!! Hug Aunt Ruby & Aunt Millie for me... 🙏💔😇
You'll be 4ever remembered...

Where should I start well I have known David since I was 15 years old I am married to Fred Squires his son . David and his wife carlene Squires showed me Lots of things I was like more than a daughter than a daughter-in-law we have done lots of things together like shopping together we planted flowers together we sat on his porch together all the time like every day . I thought they were tired of me but they never was they always told me that I was more like a daughter than their daughter-in-law I miss him so much. I remember when me and David set on the porch one day and we both fell asleep together and then we both Woke up together we started to laugh. I will never forget that moment ever in my life .i miss you David Squires I love you so much more than a father and not father-in-law and always will. RIP David Squires
