

He was born in Springfield on May 13, 1962, the son of Herbert and Loretta (Griffiths) Williams.
David was a dedicated father and a hard-working restaurant manager. He enjoyed taking his children fishing early in the morning and stopping for cinnamon rolls at Hardee's before heading to his favorite fishing spot. Reading and sketching were hobbies of his, which he loved to do in his free time. David dabbled in the art of magic and was a lifelong sci-fi enthusiast. His family will remember him by his words of wisdom, tight hugs, and beard burns.
He is survived by Diana Finney, mother of their two children: Josh (wife, Angela) Williams of Pawnee and Kim Williams of Springfield; grandchildren, Hannah and Gavin Williams; mother, Loretta Williams; and siblings, Karen, Sandy, Anita, Teresa, and Jelinda.
Cremation was provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center prior to ceremonies.
Private family ceremonies were held.
