

Deborah C. Allison, 51, a resident of Springfield since July 1992, died at 9:05 p.m. on Thursday, March 29, 2007 at Memorial Medical Center. Deborah was born on August 9, 1955 in New Burnside, the daughter of Carl and Elizabeth McFarland. She married Ronald Allison on July 1, 1988. She was a 1973 graduate of Vienna High School and received her L.P.N. from John A. Logan College in Carterville. She received her R.N. from South Eastern Illinois College in Harrisburg. Deborah was employed as a registered nurse at Marion Hospital and then various long-term care facilities. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed reading drama and romance books, crocheting and fishing. She was preceded in death by her parents. Deborah is survived by her husband, Ron; one daughter, Angel (husband, Bruce “B.J.”) Elston of Riverton; one step-son, Mike Allison of Arizona; four grandchildren: Carey, Eme, Jade and Joey; three brothers: Larry McFarland of Stonefort, Randall of Marion and Jimmy McFarland of Hawaii; one sister, Carolyn Hoskins of Norris City and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. The family invites friends to visit from 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 1, 2007 at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St. Springfield. Memorial Ceremonies will be held at a later date. Cremation will be accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center following the visitation.
