He was born on July 17, 1954, in Springfield, IL, the son of Willard E. and Charlotte L. (Britz)
Churchill.
Dennis graduated from Riverton High School in 1973. He worked in the construction industry and built many homes throughout central Illinois. Dennis was an active member of the Catholic Church. He was a great dancer who enjoyed going to car shows and loved listening to Alan Jackson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Barbara Churchill and Willmette Lott-Babbs.
Dennis is survived by his daughter, Emily Churchill and son-in-law, Sean George of Whittier, CA; seven sisters; two brothers; and many nieces and nephews. He will be missed by many.
Cremation was provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center.
The family will host a graveside service at Roselawn Memorial Park, at a later date.
