Dennis J. Webb

Dennis J. Webb, 57, of Pleasant Plains, died at 2:10 p.m. on Tuesday, May 10, 2005 at Memorial Medical Center. Dennis was born January 21, 1948 in St. Louis, MO, the son of Roy Edward and Pansy Statler Webb. He married Jayne Antonacci on December 11, 1993 in Springfield. Mr. Webb attended Southeast Missouri State University and Lincoln Land Community College. He was employed as a contractual worker for the Department of Human Services, a substance abuse counselor in the Springfield area for twenty years and he was a certified addiction counselor. He was preceded in death by his father and infant sister: Tammy Webb. He is survived by his wife; Jayne Antonacci of Pleasant Plains; mother: Pansy Webb of Jackson, MO; two brothers: Sanford Webb of Farmington, MO and Michael (wife, Vickie) Webb of Jackson, MO; seven nieces and nephews: Holli, Shannon and Michelle Webb, Seth Webb, Doug Spooler, Amanda Webb and Jessica Spooler. Cremation will be accorded by the Cremation Tribute Center, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. Memorial Gathering will be held from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Friday, May 13, 2005 at the Inn at 835, 835 S. 2nd St., Springfield. Celebration of Life will follow at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, May 13, 2005 at the Inn at 835. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Boys and Girls Clubs of Springfield, 300 S. 15th St. Springfield, IL 62703.
